UC Davis STEM Exploration Tours
As part of the BE-STARSE program, students have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge research and innovation through guided tours at UC Davis. Past visits have included the California Raptor Center, where students learn about wildlife rehabilitation and conservation; the UC Davis Wind Tunnel, which offers a firsthand look at aerodynamics testing and engineering design; and the Center for Nano-MicroManufacturing (CNM2), where students discover how scientists and engineers create technology at the smallest scales. These experiences give students a unique glimpse into real-world STEM applications and inspire them to envision future careers in science and engineering.
